His day starts out as a normal day.
As the morning wears on, he wonders why.
He hears the phone ring,
He feels the excitement.
Will he work today?
The bags are packed and sitting on the floor.
And as the morning wears on, he wonders why.
He hears the phone ring,

As he speeds down the highway on this sunny day,
A lost little child needs comfort today.
The harness, the lead, the scent, the speed.
He hears the crying,
He feels the need
To save a child.
He worked today.
